Samsung Galaxy S6 edge + Software Update

A couple of weeks ago, Verizon finally began upgrading Samsung's Galaxy Note5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ to Android 7.0 Nougat, eight months after that version of the OS was released by Google. Now, the carrier is updating both handsets with a new set of Android security patches.
The latest firmware bumps the Note5 up to build number N920VVRS3CQD1, while the Galaxy S6 edge+ will see its build number rise to G928VVRS3CQD1.
The new April security patch includes fixes for vulnerabilities and exposures in the Android OS. Also, the firmware update includes device stability improvements, bug fixes and further improvements for performance.
